Aldridge & Walsall came from behind three times at Stafford to register their first point of 2018.
It was Stafford who started the brighter of the two sides, taking the lead early on, but Aldridge & Walsall hit back through Sef Huyskens after some good link up play with Wez Price.
Stafford went ahead again before half time, Aldridge & Walsall conceding a sloppy penalty corner which the home side converted with a well worked deflection.
The visitors were level shortly after the break. Wez Price was again the creator, pulling the ball back from the byline for Haider Ashfaq to slam home his fourth goal in as many games.
Despite having the lion’s share of the ball, the away side gifted Stafford a third goal after failing to clear their lines.
With only two minutes to go, top scorer Paul Richardson turned home Neal Kassell’s ball into the D to rescue a draw for Aldridge & Walsall.
They return to action on 3 March when they visit bottom of the table West Bromwich.
